Here and Now 2026 will bring an afternoon of live music to Nagambie on Saturday, September 19, featuring local bands and solo performers alongside headliners This Way North and special guest Chloe Gill.
Running from noon to 6pm, the all-ages event will give emerging local musicians the chance to perform in front of their community, while providing a free afternoon of entertainment for young people across the region.
Strathbogie Shire Mayor Scott Jeffery said the event was about giving young people opportunities both on and off the stage.
“Here and Now is a fantastic opportunity for our young people to showcase their talent, connect with one another and enjoy live music right here in our shire,” Cr Jeffery said.
“What makes this event particularly special is the role our Strathbogie Youth Crew plays in bringing it to life. Our Youth Crew has the opportunity to be involved in delivering a large community event, build new skills and help create something they know other young people will enjoy.
“It's also a chance for the wider community to come along, support our emerging performers and enjoy some fantastic live music in Nagambie.”
Here and Now is being held as part of Victorian Youth Fest, a month-long celebration of young people held across Victoria each September.
Community members are encouraged to bring friends, family and a picnic rug to settle in for an afternoon of live music at Buckley Park.
