Today, there are 1578 Probus Clubs nationally, with a total membership of about 114,000.
In Victoria alone, 386 registered clubs boast a membership of more than 90,000.
The Seymour club, formed in August 1993, organised a special birthday luncheon on Thursday, October 22, at the Senior Citizens Hall in Seymour.
Clubs from Broadford, Kilmore and Yea were also invited to join the celebration.

Special guest speaker Ernie Bingham and his wife, Lesley, attended on behalf of the Probus Association of Victoria.
Attendees heard from Mr Bingham about the role of the Probus Association of Victoria, as well as his own role as ‘web master’ for the association, where he manages the digital presence, online tools and content for a local Probus club.
The Seymour club currently has 46 members, including life member Ron Fullerton, who was part of the club’s formation committee in 1993.
Like Probus Clubs across the country, the Seymour club acts as a social group focused on engaging retirees through the promotion of fellowship, fun and friendship.
