Already the competition benchmark through the opening half of the season, the Road came into this latest clash boasting a faultless record and in confident mood after a win over title rivals Mulwala last time out.
Congupna showed little mercy at Hardinge Street Oval in round 11, setting up the 18.16 (124) to 7.4 (46) triumph with a dominant first half.
The visitors held the Rams scoreless through the opening two quarters while piling on 9.7 (61) of their own, effectively ending the contest before the main break.
Daniel Schaper was the standout in front of goal, producing a clinical six-goal haul to spearhead the Road's attack.
James Boyer added four majors, while Brodie Gee and Robbie Mifka chipped in with two each as Congupna showcased the scoring power that has made it the league's most feared outfit.
Schaper, Boyer, Bryden Squire, Jonah Vraca, Rylen Damianopoulos and Sam Slavich all provided standout performances en route to maximum points away from home.
The Rams found more success after half-time, with William Vigona Rioli booting three goals and Ben East, Charlie Hillier, Matt MacDonald and Brock Redden adding singles, but the damage had long been done as Congupna continued its unbeaten march toward September.
Elsewhere, Mulwala flexed its premiership credentials with a devastating 113-point demolition of Rumbalara, 24.17 (161) to 7.6 (48), while Tongala edged out Finley in the thriller of the round, prevailing by just three points, 12.8 (80) to 11.11 (77).
Moama strengthened its finals hopes with a 35-point victory over Numurkah, 14.6 (90) to 8.7 (55), and Cobram rounded out the weekend with a comfortable 41-point win against Nathalia, 12.16 (88) to 7.5 (47).
With nine wins from nine and now a four-game buffer atop the ladder, Congupna's grip on first place is becoming increasingly difficult for the chasing pack to loosen.
