In what was billed as two versus three, Broadford won the opportunity to bat on Harley Hammond Reserve first, posting a comfortable 162 from their efforts.
Broadford trio, Connor Stute (31), Harrison Zanko (30) and Paul Withers (28) all shone with the bat, as Pyalong's Jake Delaney (3-29) did his best to quell the damage.
But Pyalong fell just short in the chase, left standing on 9-152 from their 45 overs.
Tallarook secured their second victory in as many weeks, beating Puckapunyal on their home turf.
Tallarook's Damien Arandt (63) and Adam Howard (58) combined for a resounding 112-run partnership to lead their side to 4-201 at the end of the innings, before Andrew Dundon (3-36) helped limit Puckapunyal to 186 to secure the match.
An accomplished innings from Puckapunyal's Stewart Herring (95) wasn't enough to get his side across the line.
Alexandra remain undefeated at the top of the ladder eight matches in, after beating Kilmore by six wickets at Leckie Park on Saturday.
Kilmore headed out to bat first, with Kevin Craddock (59) doing his best to steer the innings.
But the visitors struggled putting runs on the board, finishing with 6-90 at the end of the innings, as Alexandra's Justin Leary (3-16) impressed with the ball.
Teammates Shane Parker (44 not out) and Chris Friswell (28) then took the reins from Leary, guiding Alexandra to 4-93 with 14 overs to spare.
Royals easily accounted for Eastern Hill in their clash on Saturday, securing victory by seven wickets.
The Eagles posted a respectable total of 135, but the Royals found the task no trouble at all, quickly chasing down the total with seven wickets in hand.
An all-round performance from Yea's Michael Waghorn wasn't enough to secure the Tigers their first win of the B-grade season, as they fell 50 runs short of Avenel on Saturday.
Waghorn (4-37) spearheaded the Tigers attack, as Avenel posted 178 in their innings with the pine.
With the chase in mind, Waghorn opened the batting for the visitors, scoring 84 not out, but had little support from teammates as Avenel dismissed the Tigers for 128.
● Kilmore made light work of Avenel in their C-grade clash on the weekend, quickly chasing Avenel's total of 70 in just 17 overs.
Shannon Brown (3-22) and Paul Lilburn (41 retired) helped lift Kilmore with their respective talents, with Kilmore finishing on 75 with eight wickets in hand.
Pyalong showed they are a team not to be messed with, beating fellow in-form side Broadford Black in dominant fashion.
Michael Edwards (3-16) was a man on a mission, limiting Broadford to a measly 90 in their innings with the bat, before Dan Sowden (58 not out) and Patrick Ryan (35) guided Pyalong to 1-95 from 19 overs.
Eastern Hill nabbed their second victory of the season, showing up Broadford Red at their home field.
The Eagles were sent in to bat first, but it proved a blessing in disguise, as the side raced to 210 by the end of the innings.
Broadford's Gangadhar Veginadu (3-29) did his best to limit the Eagles’ shots, while Connah Hopkins (32) led Red's chase, though the side fell 91 runs short.
In other C-grade results, Puckapunyal Wanderers defeated Royals on forfeit, Alexandra beat Puckapunyal Nomads on forfeit, while Seymour had the bye.
