Todd Murphy broke into the international arena last year, playing cricket for Australia in India.
His performance there earned him a place in the recent Ashes second test match in England.
Despite all the furore and carry on about which team had the sole right to dismiss a batsman when he steps out of his crease, our boy dismissed the English captain to give them something else to whinge about.
The second young man called Murphy is 15 year-old Charlie Murphy who has made his international debut this week.
His chosen sport is water polo, a sport he took up when he was 10.
And pardon the pun, but he has taken to it like a duck to water.
Charlie caught the eye of the water polo elite after he scored 35 goals in an Australian competition in Perth earlier this year, the highest score in all age groups
This week he has been representing his country in New Zealand.
As the competition did not wind up until after the newspaper went to print yesterday, we will have to wait for a full report.

They sang and danced and played games, not to mention enjoying some delicious snacks.
