Go Adventure Nagambie won two gold awards at the 2023 Victorian Tourism Awards held on Thursday, November 30, at Crown Palladium in Melbourne.
Go Adventure Nagambie is a locally owned family business established in 1991.
Lee and Kymberleigh Rowland now run it.
After being named a finalist in the Tourism Awards in 2022, Go Adventure Nagambie has trumped a field of Victorian business and tourism leaders in the categories of ‘tourism, retail and hire services’ and ‘adventure tourism’.
This achievement is a feat, considering the business was entirely halted by the October 2022 floods, losing three months of the operating season.
Go Adventure Nagambie hopes to shine a light on Nagambie and the broader Goulburn River and Ranges region with these awards.
Go Adventure Nagambie was the only business in Victoria to win two gold awards in the 2023 finals.
The business is now a finalist for two prizes at the 2023 Australian Tourism Awards in Darwin in March 2024.
