The Living Waters Kyabram church celebrated its 80th birthday at the weekend, with a two-day conference attended by about 200 people.

Among the congregation was Reg Gillie and his wife, Alma, who were part of the founding church many decades ago.
Mr Gillie, 90, could recall the first meetings held in private homes and the Kyvalley public hall, when the outreach was established from a Melbourne pentecostal church, about 80 years ago.
Senior Pastor Aaron Wallace told the conference that the life of the church today was due in some part to the work and prayer of the early church founders.
Living Waters is affiliated with the Australian Christian Churches and its predecessor, the Assemblies of God.
Today the church has seven on the ministry team and has recently expanded its auditorium with modern lighting and sound.
