Goulburn-Murray Water customers and community members from the Nyah, Tresco and Woorinen pumped irrigation districts have been invited to attend drop-in sessions on May 7 focused on seeking feedback on a draft future service strategy.
G-MW strategy and services planning general manager Steven Abbott thanked everyone who attended the pumped irrigation customer and community session on February 26 .
“Since then, work has continued to refine the draft future service strategy, including further technical and financial analysis to help clearly explain what the options could mean for customers,” Mr Abbott said.
“We’ve had a number of workshops and one-on-one conversations with our customers and the community over the past seven months to inform the development of these options, so we’re looking forward to hearing their thoughts and feedback.”
Customer and community sessions will be held on Thursday, May 7 at:
- Lake Boga Community Centre: 10am to noon (for Tresco)
- Nyah Community Centre: 1pm to 3pm (for Nyah and Woorinen)
The sessions will help customers understand the options and their potential service and cost impacts, and explain how and when feedback can be provided on the draft strategy.
Mr Abbott said the sessions were an important opportunity for customers and community members to understand the draft strategy and what it could mean for the future.
“We know customers want clear, practical information about the service options being considered and how those options could affect them,” Mr Abbott said.
