Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, friends and music.
Beloved first of four sons to Kay and Margaret Stainsby (née McGuire), loved and loving father to Dr Clare Frances, Gregory John, and Dr Daniel Joseph Stainsby.
Cherished grandfather to Javari Griffon Stainsby Green. Loved brother to Barry and Janice, Bill and Cathy and Geoffrey (dec.) and Laurice, double cousin to Harold and Sister Mary Stainsby RSM, adored uncle to Dr Gerard, David, Jenny, Catherine and Barry; Faye; Robert, Frances and Dr Thomas Stainsby.
A devoted friend to many, especially Judith, Dr Colin Honey and John O.G.
A lover of music, poetry, Art, astronomy, community, social justice, history, natural science, mathematics, Divinity, Australia, flora and fauna and, most especially, birds.
A man with a golden heart and a diamond mind.
