Passed away peacefully on 16 July 2026, aged 95 years.
Beloved wife of the late Victor Raymond Hockings. Much-loved mother of Ian Raymond Hockings (deceased), Lena Kristine Wyllie and Judith Lynette Jackson.
Cherished grandmother of Robin, Suzanne, Marius, Katie, Ben and Vicky. Loving great-grandmother of Oliver, Marlow and Shay.
A life well lived, filled with love and kindness toward her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Esme’s funeral service, to be held at Tweed Valley Lawn Cemetery and Crematorium on Friday, 24 July 2026, at 2pm.
Following the service, family and friends are warmly invited to gather at Lena Wyllie’s home for afternoon tea.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Queensland Meals On Wheels would be gratefully appreciated.
