Ruth passed away peacefully at Fairway Bayside Aged Care Home on March 23, 2026, at the remarkable age of 100.

Adored wife of William (Bill) (dec).

Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Robert and Jill,
Alan, and Jeanette and Peter.

Proud Granny to Madeleine and partner Giles,
Christopher, Abbey and partner Aaron,
Tim and partner Jocelyn.
Great-Granny to Max, Caspar and Ludovico.

In a magnificent tribute to a life well-lived, Ruth celebrated her 100th birthday last year surrounded by those she loved.

She will be remembered for her tireless hard work in her younger years, devotion to family, engaging chatter and her famous love of oysters and bubbly!

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts and the staff at Fairway Bayside
for their care and support.

Ruth will be remembered at a private cremation.
