Helen Roshier (nee Scott) has passed. Born in Scotland in 1935, Helen emigrated in 1952 with her parents and three brothers to settle in Ceres and then South Geelong. As further education was not an option at the time, Helen decided to join the RAAF seeking a better future, which unexpectedly came in the form of a robust Englishman called John Roshier. Love, travel, two children in Karen and Neil, lives lived overseas, careers, grandchildren and great grandchildren followed. Helen was always a remarkable gardener, a befriender of wild animals and a woman of firm resolve, who always lived the way she chose. John died in 1993, aged 58 and there was never anyone else for Helen. Now after 33 years Helen and John will finally be reunited, to continue their journey together once more, wherever they may go.
