MCCRACKEN OAM, Geoffrey Charles Alan

The Old Scotch Collegians’ Association mourns the death of Past President (1997) Geoff ‘Crackers’ McCracken OAM (’65). Geoff attended Scotch College from 1954 to 1965 as a fourth-generation Scotch boy. An OSCA Councillor (1987-98), Geoff was OSCA’s 1993-96 Vice President and 57th President. A member of many OSCA and Scotch groups, Geoff’s main passion was the Old Scotch Football Club as a player (133 games, 1966-80), Treasurer, Vice-President, Secretary, Honorary Life Member (1981) and centenary history co-author (2021). He received Honorary OSCA Life Membership (2018) and assisted OSCA with boundless passion until his death. OSCA extends its condolences to Beverley, Stephen, Elizabeth and their families.
