Died peacefully at St John of God hospital, Geelong on 15 February, 2026 aged 93.

He was a kind, generous and quietly intellectual man beloved by his adored wife Merle Ainslie, his children Gregory Ross and Heather Ainslie and his grandchild, Liam Ross and Miriam Ainslie.

His long and purposeful life has been a blessing to our family and he will be deeply missed.
