Nine years without you, my old girl.

Nine years have passed since I last heard your voice, held your hand or had the comfort of knowing you were here. Yet somehow, I still find myself wishing for just one more day with you.

There are so many things I wish I could tell you, moments I wish I could share, and times I wish I could pick up the phone and hear you say hello. Life has gone on, but a part of my heart will always remain with you.

I miss our bond, our conversations, your love and simply having you by my side. I wish more than anything you could have met my beautiful children. I know you would have loved them so deeply, and it breaks my heart that they will only know you through the memories and stories I share.

Nine years may have passed, but my love for you never has. I hope you're looking down on us, knowing how loved you still are, and I hope I'm making you proud.
