Back to the Future star James Tolkan dies aged 94
James Tolkan, known for Back to the Future and Top Gun, has died aged 94 after a remarkable acting career spanning decades.
16°CDear Nola – what an amazing second cousin! It was such a privilege enjoying various outings and visits with her, especially over the last twenty years. Her interest in family members and her ability to connect with people from many different backgrounds was extraordinary. No wonder she was such a highly regarded, accomplished journalist. We loved exploring the Barossa and Clare with her as guide, and she enjoyed spending time with us in Albany. Her appreciation of fine wine, French cuisine, inspirational art and design was obvious; her eclectic interests in politics, bridge, tennis, theatre, the Adelaide Crows, investments; and especially her commitment to Kevin, the Church, friends and family members was inspirational.
We were so lucky to have spent some precious hours with Nola last month. What a treat it was to enjoy a lunch with her back at Living Choice, when several of the residents there stopped by for a quick chat and thanked Nola for various things she’d encouraged them to take an interest in.
Heartfelt Condolences to the Kenny and Marshall families,
Warren & Marguerite Flynn, Jeremy & Amber.
