DELAHUNTY, Joe

Calvary Health Care acknowledges the recent death of Mr Joe Delahunty who was the General Manager of Calvary Hospital Lenah Valley in the 1990s. Joe had a long and very distinguished career of over 30 years with Calvary, joining the service in 1965. During his term as GM he oversaw significant developments such as the construction of Accident and Emergency, the opening of the Critical Care Units and the development of the Cardiac Centre. The health care of Tasmanians benefited from his strategic vision aligned with the mission of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary.
