The Rams showed plenty of effort and heart throughout the four quarters, staying in the contest with strong passages of play and never dropping their intensity.
The boys embraced the underdog tag and made Moama earn every kick.
There were some standout individual performances, with Tynen Rothe leading the way to take the Harvey Norman award.
Logan Elphick worked hard all day, while Spencer Cowley and Jack McGrillen both had strong contributions around the ground.

Under-14s
The Deniliquin Rams under-14s had their five-game winning streak brought to an end on Saturday, with Moama’s intensity and pressure catching the young Rams off guard from the opening bounce.
Deni struggled to match the opposition’s physicality and ball movement across the ground, making it a challenging day for the home side.
After being held scoreless in the first half, Will Crossley kicked the Rams’ first goal in the third quarter, before Jaxon Rothe added another in the final minute of the match.
While the result was disappointing, the Rams know they have plenty to work on and will aim to be better prepared and ready to respond next time they face strong opposition.

Under-12s
The Rams faced a strong Moama outfit on the weekend, going down by 58 points, with Gus Browne the lone goalscorer.
The boys kept battling against a much bigger and well-drilled Moama side, showing plenty of determination and never dropping their heads.
While the scoreboard didn’t fall our way, the effort from the boys was 100 per cent and there was some great defence on display.

Under-10s
The Deni Rams took on a strong and tall Echuca Bombers side in a tough and closely contested match.
From the first bounce, the pressure was high, and every player had to dig deep, work hard and compete strongly around the ball.
Young stars Harry Catt and Max Woolston showed great determination all game, never backing down against a bigger Bombers outfit.
Defensive pressure was a highlight, with Brock McComb and Gus McGrillen leading the way with their strong tackling and repeat efforts.
It was a fantastic team effort, with all players willing to put their bodies on the line and contributing in a hard-fought game.
