Heathcote v Leitchville-Gunbower
Leitchville-Gunbower got its first win since back in round two, ending a seven-game winless stretch with a narrow victory over Heathcote.
The Saints took the game to the wire, but the Bombers held on late to win 49-47.
Stacy Bacon looks for options.
It’s Leitchville’s first success since its last meeting with Heathcote, the side scoring one draw and suffering six losses in that time.
On a polarised league table, the Bombers’ second win of the season (2-1-7) is enough to get them within a game of the top five.
Leitchville-Gunbower heads into the bye this weekend before returning for an away game to Huntly on July 4.
