The midweek pennant saw mixed results, with A1s defeating Myrtleford 67-47, wins to the Shane Mathieson rink 26-9 and Sam Beaton 27-13.
The A2s were beaten by Wangaratta 46-76; the only winning rink was Tim Hill’s, 27-24.
The A3s were soundly beaten by Wodonga 41-67; Richard Baulch winning his rink 18-17.
The B1s had a great win over Myrtleford 62-51. Winning rinks were Brenda Sunderland 17-12, Bill Broderick 22-21 and Graeme Greene 23-18.
Weekend pennant teams were beaten by better teams on the day.
A1s were defeated by Wodonga 58-85, the A2s lost to Chiltern 61-121, the A4s went down to Yarrawonga 62-112 and B1s lost to Moyhu 49-80.
The FCJ students have a breakup afternoon on Thursday, which will see the finals of what has been an enjoyable lunchtime bowling competition.
