It's been pleasing to see both Corowa Bowls Clubs supporting each other during the Winter months.
Club Corowa Bowls is available Tuesday and Saturday, with Corowa Civic playing Wednesday, and Saturday.
Winners on Tuesday played in sunny, cool conditions.
Two Bowl Triples winners were, Lynne Bowler (new to bowls) Shane Rosenow and John Dalgleish (Corowa Civic) from a field of 12 bowlers.
Saturday Open Jackpot was a "no play day" due to rain.
Australian Open Championships
Anne Summerill has just completed her umpiring role at the Australian Open on the Gold Coast.
The event was held over fifteen days, with Anne officiating 14 and only having one day off.
Anne was the International Technical Officer (umpire) for the girls Under 18 final on the last day.

Corowa Civic Bowls Club Wednesday Winners Caroline and Ian Lewis.
A good turnout of 17 bowlers took part in social bowls on Wednesday in mostly sunny conditions.
Winners on the day were Ian and Caroline Lewis, with runners up Ann Climas, John Dalgleish and Kevin Bowler.
A big welcome to our visitors Kevin, Darryl and Mike.
Unfortunately, Saturday social was cancelled due to the wet day.
