Congratulating local emergency services on jobs well done was the final act for NSW Governor Margaret Beazley before she left Deniliquin on Saturday.

Her final official appearance of her Southern Riverina tour, Her Excellency met with district members of the State Emergency Service and local NSW Rural Fire Service and NSW Fire + Rescue brigades over breakfast.
It was also a chance to view the operations centres of some of the agencies, the vehicles they use today and those of yesteryear.
SES Deputy Zone Commander Superintendent Scott McLennan said the morning was deisnged to thank the volunteers for their hard work, particularly over the last 12 months.
“The Governor just wanted to come and say ‘hi’, and to give her thanks, as well of those of His Majesty and the government,” he said.
