Deniliquin’s St Michael’s Parish School held its annual Vinnies PJ Day on Friday, June 14.
Both students and teachers dressed ready for bed to raise donations and awareness for the St Vincent De Paul Society, Vinnies Reconnect Deniliquin, and the Vinnies 2024 winter appeal.
A highlight of the morning was the parade, after which awards were given out for the loudest pyjamas, craziest bed hair, most loved bed toy and best overall outfit within each stage group.
Event organiser Tina Pisasale said that while certificates were given, all the students were winners, and the biggest winners were the St Vincent De Paul Society due to the school’s efforts in getting involved in the day.
