The voluntary group meets twice a year and topics discussed may include the range of services provided, how those services are delivered, opportunities for improvement, feedback mechanisms, communications with participants, and more.
Members of the CAB are supported by the Intereach team to attend meetings online or in-person.
Intereach general manager Sarah Matthews said it is a great opportunity for locals to share their perspectives and experience.
“The CAB provides a structured mechanism to provide feedback on the aged care services provided by Intereach, and a formal pathway for channelling consumer feedback to the Intereach Board and management,” she said.
“In keeping with Intereach’s values and priorities, recruitment embraces diversity and inclusion, to ensure the CAB is reflective of the experiences, perspectives, and expectations of a wide range of aged care clients.”
The opportunity is open to past and present participants, identified consumer advocates, and representatives from across the Intereach footprint.
