This Easter, Woolworths is encouraging customers in Seymour to help provide the best possible care for kids in hospital by donating to the Easter Fundraising Appeal in support of The Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Funds raised will help the Good Friday Appeal support initiatives at The Royal Children’s Hospital like the Comfort Kids Program, the hospital’s in-house television program and Child Life Therapy programs.

These programs provide positive experiences to patients and families, help engage and empower children to cope better while in hospital, allow for the provision of play therapy and develop techniques to minimise distress for all children and adolescents.
Running in-store and online until April 19, customers at Woolworths Seymour can support by simply adding a $2 Easter egg-shaped token to their shop or by making a round-up donation at Woolworths’ self-service check-outs.
“Our commitment to the Good Friday Appeal has spanned 35 years now and, thanks to the support of the Seymour community, we have been able to provide support to more than 300,000 children in need in the last year alone,” store manager Ray Whyte said.
“The Easter Fundraising Appeal is a great example of how working together as a community we can collectively make a big difference to the lives of many kids and families across Victoria.”
The Seymour community has always provided generously to the Woolworths Easter Fundraising Appeal, with the efforts applauded by both Woolworths and The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
This year, in addition to the Easter Fundraising Appeal, Woolworths has also teamed up with Josh’s Rainbow Eggs in conjunction with Chocolatier Australia to produce chocolate eggs to support the Good Friday Appeal.
For every Josh’s Rainbow Easter egg sold, an additional 50c will be donated to the appeal.
Woolworths customers have helped raise $24 million to date for The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal launch through ongoing appeals.
