$15,000 for local community house’s food relief efforts

“We know the cost of living is hitting families hard – these grants will help organisations big and small deliver fresh, nutritional food to families and support the volunteers who make it happen every day,” Ms Symes said.

The local community house will receive $15,000 to run community lunch and cooking classes, run the Harvest Hub food pantry and provide 100 ready-made meals a month to families.

Across Victoria, the program boosts supplies for large-scale food relief organisations, and supports volunteers on the front line.
