Seymour Goulburn Lions celebrate 30th anniversary at changeover dinner

The Seymour Goulburn Lions Club celebrated its 30th year at its annual changeover dinner.

Long-time member Leonie Willis was named president for the coming year.

Joining her on the board for the next 12 months will be Reggie Young, David Stute, Bob Edwards, Carol Smith, Liz Johnson, Heather Dunn and Ruth Hall.

The evening also saw the presenting of a number of awards.

Alice Hall received an award for 25 years’ service, Gerry Bates and Jill Griffiths each received a 30-year Charter Monarch award, Bob Edwards recieved a Melvin Jones Fellow award and Jill Keeffe received a PDG Riley McAtee OAM Vision award.

District governor Keith Yates was there to name the new president and hand out the awards.
