On April 25, many remember and pay respect to those who served in war.
St Mary’s College, Seymour College and Puckapunyal school leaders lay wreaths among those who have supported Seymour and the Anzac Day ceremony.
The Seymour Anzac Day ceremony was joined by the public, those who are serving, have served, or have family members who have served.
This year’s Anzac Day ceremony was, like always, amazing. Seymour showed everyone how proud we are to be Australian and acknowledge and respect those who fought for Australia, even when it meant their lives were at risk.
Australia is a rare and special country. Australians show that through their kindness and courage. Most Australians remember and respect those who fought so we could live and grow up in a free country. However, some think of Anzac Day as just a public holiday, a school-free day.
So, it’s important that the younger generations of Australia understand, acknowledge and respect the meaning of Anzac Day and those who served for our country
