On Sunday, June 15, a Holden Commodore station wagon broke down on the Hume Fwy about 500 metres south of the Broadford off-ramp.
Police said the victim returned to collect his vehicle on Tuesday, June 17 to find it had been stolen.
The vehicle is valued at $10,000.
Shop theft
On Tuesday, June 17, at about 8.25pm, an unknown male offender entered the Seymour Aldi and selected four bottles of whiskey before leaving the store without paying.
The male is described as Caucasian with dark blonde, short hair, about 181cm tall and in his late 20s or early 30s.
Police said he was wearing black tracksuit pants, a black Everlast hoodie, black slides, and was carrying a yellow shopping bag.
The total value of the alcohol stolen was $156.
At about 3.30pm on Wednesday, June 18, an unknown male offender entered the Wallan Aldi carrying two Coles shopping bags.
The male filled the bags with meat before exiting the store without paying for the items, police said.
The male is described as Caucasian with a moustache, and was wearing a black hat, sunglasses, a black puffer jacket with a Nike jumper underneath, beige pants and black shoes.
The total value of items stolen was $200.
Copper thefts
Between midnight on Tuesday, June 17 and 7pm on Wednesday, June 18, unknown offender/s removed 25 metres of 50mm copper pipe from a business in Victoria St, Seymour.
Between 2pm on Wednesday, June 18 and 9.15am on Friday, June 20, unknown offender/s attended a vacant property in Henry St, Seymour and cut the copper pipe connecting the hot water system.
Vehicle damage
Between 6am on Friday, June 20 and 8pm on Sunday, June 22, unknown offender/s used an unknown tool to smash the rear passenger window of a vehicle parked at the Wandong Railway Station.
While access to the vehicle wasn’t gained, police said $2000 worth of damage to the vehicle has been reported.
Theft from vehicles
Overnight on Sunday, June 22, unknown offender/s threw bricks at the driver’s side of a vehicle parked on Templemore Rd, Beveridge, causing damage to the driver’s side panels and smashing the rear driver’s side window.
Police said the offender/s gained access to the vehicle through the window and stole cash, a laptop, Apple phone, and credit cards, all valued at $2300.
Overnight on Sunday, June 22, unknown offender/s removed the front and rear registration plates from a vehicle parked in Powlett St, Kilmore.
