Committee member Allan Weeks said the area at the old Kyabram railway station precinct had been subject to ongoing vandalism over the past five years.
The vandalism issues include graffiti, snapped steel animal cut-outs from fences, torn pages from the visitors’ book, damaged solar lights and stolen security cameras.
Most recently, rubbish bins were thrown from the roof of the building, scattering waste across the grounds.
The incidents have been brought to the attention of Kyabram police, with CCTV footage supplied.
Cameras are in use at the site.

Kyabram police acting Senior Sergeant Paul Van Emmerick said police had proactive visible patrols, robust policing and foot patrols tasked to the area.
He said all children who had been actively spoken to in relation to damages or any incidents had been cautioned as required.
With the committee reduced to just two members, Mr Weeks said the area was costing them over $2000 annually to maintain.
Under VicTrack lease conditions, the committee must maintain public liability insurance, plus an additional $50 monthly Telstra fee for security camera monitoring.
Mr Weeks said the committee was unable to receive any grants for the costs and, instead, had to raise the money.
“If I wasn’t able to fix 90 per cent of this damage, we’d be really out of pocket,” he said.
Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call Kyabram police station on 5853 1777, Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at crimestoppersvic.com.auor dial 000 if an incident is taking place at the time.
