Playing on Northern Oval in Kyabram, the Panthers won the toss and elected to bat first, going on to make 9-107 from the 20 overs.
Nolan was again critical in attack, picking up 2-17, while another Nagambie cricket export in Hamish Winter-Irving took 2-36, which included the Panthers’ two opening batsmen.
Heading in to bat, another Winter-Irving in Mitch Winter-Irving top scored for the Mud Dogs, scoring 20 runs from 14 deliveries.
Nolan, along with Hamish, weren't as fruitful with the bat, knocking together eight and nine respectively, but it was enough for the Mud Dogs to pass the 107 runs required with four balls remaining.
The Mud Dogs have already shored up a grand final appearance for February 16, but will first look to face the Jarvis Delahey Crushers in round three at Deakin Reserve in Shepparton on Sunday, February 2.
