This amount was matched by the school’s P&C Committee, following success in its fundraising drives.
P&C member Angela Carmichael said the jointly funded purchase will allow students to use the new technology across all areas of the school, enhancing digital learning and classroom engagement.
“This generous funding from CleanPeak combined with the efforts of our P&C allows us to put modern technology directly into the hands of the Deni North students,” she said.
“We are incredibly grateful to CleanPeak Energy for investing in our school, and to our amazing P&C and school community whose fundraising efforts made this joint purchase a reality."
CleanPeak Energy is the developer of the Deniliquin Solar Farm.
Its local community liaison officer Sophie Blew said the community benefits fund was established to provide “meaningful, long term support for local initiatives”.
“At CleanPeak Energy, we are proud to support this initiative, and we’re delighted that the Deniliquin Community Benefits Fund can contribute to opportunities like this for local students,” she said.

“It’s great to see this investment already making a direct impact in the classroom.”
The DNPS P&C Committee works closely with the school to identify needs, raise funds, and secure resources that enrich the learning environment and opportunities for students.
Parents, carers, staff, and community members can join our meetings to share ideas or offer themselves as volunteers.
The P&C meets twice per term, with the next scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, from 6pm in the school library. Email dnpspnc@gmail.com if you would like more information.
