The free open day, running from 10am to 1pm at 21 McIntyre St, Seymour, will showcase the centre’s play-based approach to early learning.
Children can enjoy face painting and sensory play, while parents can tour the facility and learn about the curriculum, including the Kinder+ school readiness program and the Future Foodies nutrition program.
The event will also feature a community barbecue, coffee and visits from local police and CFA representatives.
Journey Early Learning Seymour’s Mel McCormick said the open day was about welcoming local families and strengthening community connections.
“We’re proud to be part of the Seymour community and to provide a place where children feel safe, supported and inspired to learn every day,” she said.
“Our open day is a wonderful opportunity for families to explore our centre, meet our team and experience the warm, welcoming environment we've created together.”
Families currently seeking care, planning ahead for kindergarten, or simply wanting to learn more about the centre are encouraged to attend.
