The outdoor bar will open on Saturday, October 10, showcasing cool-climate wines, grazing towers, lawn games and views across the Strathbogie Ranges.
Through to March 2027, the bar will offer Victorian travellers and local wine lovers a seasonal destination.
Fowles Wine owner Matt Fowles said the reopening marked an exciting turning point for the year.
“The Ginger Prince is a relaxed outdoor space for everyone and always hits the mark with our guests, and having it locked in for a huge relaunch in October gets us excited for what’s to come this summer,” Mr Fowles said.
“We have taken a new approach this year, with a fresh menu focusing on local produce and some of Fowles’ favourites that can be enjoyed by everyone.”
The garden bar will feature weekend offerings including grazing towers, Ginger Prince Sparkling Rosé and Moscato, and lawn games.
The reopening carries added significance following the Longwood bushfires in January, which swept through the region and Fowles' vineyards.
Mr Fowles said the team had stood firm in the months since.
“Following the fires that swept through the region and our vineyards at the start of the year, our team at Fowles has shown great resilience,” he said
“There is an underlying buzz of excitement despite the difficulty of this year, and we are excited to have a new offering in the garden bar and welcome back locals and travellers to be part of it.
“Getting outside, soaking up some vitamin D and lying on a picnic rug while sipping on wine is truly a summer arvo well spent, and we know our guests will love it.”
