The modern tradition of formally marking the first 100 days of school for Kindergarten students is starting to sweep the playgrounds.
While most of the activities are centred on learning outcomes, the part of the celebration that turns most heads is the Kindies dressed as 100 year olds.
The engaging activity helps infuse fun and learning - something all school strives to do.
Kicking off the celebrations is Edward Public School, which invited its Kindergarten students to dress up last week.
Other local schools will host their 100 days celebrations over the coming two weeks.
At Edward, fake glasses, grey wigs, dressing gowns, walking sticks and waistcoats were popular outfit choices among the youngsters.
Kindergarten teacher Kristy Tremble also got in on the action, wearing her bast ‘nana nightie’ and joining in on the fun.
