On Tuesday, June 17, Seymour Coles held its ice bucket challenge, raising awareness of, and raising funds for MND.
Store manager Caz Watson said every single staff member was jumping in and doing whatever they could to help raise funds to go towards MND research.
Phil Hutchinson and Jayden Sturt were well-prepared for the dunking.

“The community of Seymour really get involved. It’s about raising awareness to say that we’re here to support, no matter what,” Ms Watson said.
Since 2020, the team has amassed more than $120,000 for FightMND, and in just six weeks, they raised over $17,000 for the cause this year.
The ice got the best of Brodie Patton and Jayden Trodd from Victory Meats Butchers.

“It was just a bit of advertising, getting information on social media and having some barbecues and fundraisers as well,” Ms Watson said.
“We want people to know that we are there, we’re thinking of them, and we’re just doing our little part, as is the community, just to say that we are listening.”
The Telegraph was invited to come along for the freezing fun, and one of our own even came face-to-face with the icy dunk.
