Benalla Rural City Council is providing a final reminder to residents, businesses and community groups to have their say on its proposed 2026-2027 budget before feedback closes at 6pm on Thursday, June 4.
Benalla Mayor Bernie Hearn urged the community to take this last opportunity to help shape the region’s future.
“Your feedback is essential to ensure this budget reflects the needs and priorities of our community,” Cr Hearn said.
“Whether you live here, work here, or run a local club, we need to know what you think. Let us know if we’ve got it right or if there are things we need to reconsider.”
Community feedback will directly influence the final budget, which is scheduled for adoption at the council meeting on Wednesday, June 24.
