State Member for Euroa Annabella Cleeland is urging local disability support groups to apply for grants of up to $7000.

The Disability Self-Help Grants aim to enhance social and emotional support for people living with disability, and their carers.

The funding is versatile, covering costs from administration to activities that improve group operations. Priority is given to groups in regional and remote Victoria.

“The broad criteria ensures applicants have access to funding that can cater to their support group’s unique needs,” Ms Cleeland said.

Ms Cleeland said she would be happy to assist with any applications, encouraging groups to contact her at annabelle.cleeland@parliament.vic.gov.au or on 5762 1600.

Further information on the grants can be found at providers.dffh.vic.gov.au/disability-self-help-grants-program/

Applications close December 14.
