Through December 2024 and January 2025, significant works will take place, including the construction and asphalting of Seymour-Avenel Rd and Granville Dve and the removal of a temporary section of Granville Dve.
Residents and commuters can expect construction activities from 7am to 6pm on weekdays and from 7am to 5pm on weekends.
The work will inevitably cause noise during the day, however, mitigation measures are in place to minimise disturbances.
Traffic management will be implemented to ensure continued access for local traffic and businesses amid the planned changes to Granville Dve.
While the Seymour-Avenel Rd bridge will be closed during this time, a detour will be available via Avenel Rd.
Various heavy and light machinery will be operating on site, including cranes, loaders, excavators, and water carts, which may cause minor traffic delays from the vehicles entering and exiting the area.
Environmental controls are also being prioritised to minimise the project’s impact.
