State Member for Northern Victoria Region Gaelle Broad has asked motorists to take care on Victoria’s roads during school holidays.
In a thinly veiled swipe at the state government, Ms Broad described driving in northern Victoria as akin to playing Russian roulette.
She also said that drivers could play a new game of counting the number of road signs asking drivers to go lower than the speed limit.
However, Ms Broad was keen to stress that there was much to enjoy in the region.
“There are so many great places to visit in northern Victoria, including the Mallee, the goldfields and the high country,” she said.
“There is something for everyone to enjoy, and the weather forecast looks great.”
