The Echuca Moama Group Australian Plant Society has had a very busy year so far with trips to see the spectacular wildflowers and wetlands around Rushworth and Bendigo, and the magnificent grasslands of the Patho Plains.
Tomorrow (Saturday) they aim to show the people of Echuca Moama just how awesome Australian plants can be.
The Native Flower Showcase will be at the Masonic Lodge at 426 High St, Echuca, just north of the old water tower, with heaps to see and lots to learn about.
There will be four specialist nurseries selling plants and providing information, displays of hundreds of flowers from local gardens and demonstrations of Flower Arranging and traditional basket weaving.
Doors open at 9am and close around 4pm.
$5 entry fee with free tea and coffee lucky door prizes and a raffle.
