With Australia Day on Sunday, a group of well-travelled friends got together decked-out in Australian themed costumes.
One of the Deniliquin locals involved, Carolyn Wheatley, said the group get together “on the Edward River on the farm at Hanley Park, just outside Four Post”.
Each year they have a big Australia Day camp-out, which they enjoyed again this year.
The ladies dressed up in Australia Day theme and enjoyed quizzes and games with plenty of Australia Day flags and memorabilia.
Visitors came from as far as Queensland, as well as Geelong and Shepparton.
The annual event brings together the group of friends who are all outback campers, which is how they met.
“It was a great weekend venue and there were 14 camping in the group.
“Everyone keeps coming back, so it seems they must all enjoy themselves,” Mrs Wheatley said.
