After struggling for numbers and not having a senior team in 2022, Yarroweyah has been working hard to rebuild over the off-season — and it has paid off.

The Hoppers have added a wealth of new faces to the club and senior coach Tommy Scott said there was a positive vibe at the club at the moment.

“The vibe is good. We are building the morale now and coming back to be competitive. I’m excited to see what we can do,” Scott said.

“It is a lot better than it was last year. We are trying to maintain our numbers and build the club for the next three or four years.

“We want to win more games than we lose and try and catch a few sides off guard and surprise a few people.”

Steve Stallion and Lachlan Sykes are two of the biggest recruits. Stallion was Rumbalara’s best-and-fairest last season and ruckman Sykes is a former GVL player.
