Sporting clubs across the Goulburn Valley can apply for funding for things from uniforms to administrator training costs as part of the Victorian Government’s latest grants program.
The government’s Sporting Club Grants Program is now open, offering $1000 to $5000 in funding across three categories.
Grants of $1000 are available for uniforms, participation equipment and first-aid equipment; $2000 for training coaches, officials and volunteers; and $5000 for participation initiatives and improving club operation effectiveness.
Clubs can submit only one application across all three categories.
A range of sporting groups in the region have previously received funding under the grants program, including Greater Shepparton Basketball Association, Nathalia Little Athletics Club, Katandra Cricket Club, McEwen Reserve Tennis Club, Pine Lodge Cricket Club, Shepp Feathers (badminton), Shepparton Football Netball Club, Tallygaroopna Football Netball Club, Undera Tennis Club and Kialla Golf Club.
