The Snipers defeated the Renegades 10-1 in the first game of Round 13, with the Renegades solitary win coming from a doubles game.

The Snipers’ human highlight reel and captain, Mark Robinson, banged the maximum six pegs for the night, including a high peg of 120 as well as another “maximum” in a 170 finish!
Congrats Robbo, who also threw four tons, a 129 and three 140’s.
Jason Masters scored three tons, a 120, two 121’s a 123 and a 140, Steve Ritchie nailed seven tons and a 140 and Darren Withoos hit a ton, a 121 and three 140’s.
The ‘Gades highlights included a ton for Justin Billman and a 120 for Roger McCallum.
The Kings taught the Golf Club Aces a lesson in dominance in the next A Grade game of the Round, winning 11-0. The Kings’ Terran Crispin, Rob Welsh and Anthony Bohlmann each snagged five pegs for the night, Terran Crispin also pounded in eight tons and a 111, Rob Welsh hammered in five tons, a 123, 125 and two 140’s, Anthony Bohlmann snagged two tons, a 103 and a 140 and Adam Lynch nailed five tons and a 140.
The Aces’ Dave Ring smacked in two tons, a 112, 121 and two 140’s, Mark Ruddick landed five tons, Mark Jones slipped in two tons and Alan Sharp sneaked in a high score of 136.
The Pirates locked horns with Badass in the final A Grade game for Round 13, and it was a nail biter, with the result going down to the final game of the night, but the Pirates’ Andrew “Harry” Harrison dragged his team over the line, to win 6-5.
As well as winning the final match of the night, Harry threw two tons, a 120, 121 and 125, Zane Kilroy hit five tons, a 123 and a 140, Seth Kilroy snagged five tons, a 121, two 125’s and a 140 and Steve Kilroy banged in four tons and a 140.
Peter Myles fired in four tons, a 121, two 140’s and a high peg of 80 for Badass, Anthony Wallis was next best with three tons, a 121 and a 140, Wayne Cartner scored high scores of 114 and 135 and Gary Power snagged a ton and a 125.
Moving onto B Grade, the Cobras defeated the Duck 9-2, with Rohan Clancy finishing the night with five pegs and a ton, Rob Davon was quiet with a ton and a 139, Crystal Bird smacked in a ton and Josh Read scored a high peg of 104.
For the Ducks, Davis Stokes top scored with 140 and Jackie McKenzie sneaked in a high score of 105.
The next game was between the Jacarandas and the Convicts, but the Jacarandas forfeited due to illness, so the Convicts claimed an 11-0 win.
The final game of the Round was between the Marauders and the Royal Rascals, which the Rascals won convincingly 8-3.
The Rascals didn’t have any recordable high scores, but Brendan Rogers completed the match’s highest finish, a peg of 54.
Marg Francis was the pick of the bunch for the Marauders, she nailed high scores of 106 and 116 and Simon Collie chipped in with a 103.
Round 14 had the Golf Club Aces and Renegades go head-to-head, with the Golf Club proving too good on their home deck, winning the night 8-3.
After a quiet week last week, Mark Jones featured heavily in the highlights, throwing six tons and a 140 to go with five finishes, Mark Ruddick continues to build every week with a ton, 111, 135 and 138, Dave Ring snagged two 125’s and Alan Sharp scored a 114.
The Renegades Justin Billman nailed four straight tons, Leigh Turnbull snared a ton and a 140 and Roscoe Penny banged in high scores of 111 and 114.
The Pirates and Snipers went toe to toe in the next match up, with the Snipers taking home the choccies with an 8-3 win that sees them take their place at the top of the ladder.
Zane Kilroy was prolific for the home side, the Pirates’ youngster smashed in seven tons, a 121, a 123, two 125’s, two 140’s as well as a Round high peg of 118, Steve Kilroy slipped in five straight tons, Andrew Harrison banged in three tons and Seth Kilroy scored a ton, a 135, two 140’s and a 180.
The Snipers’ eagle-eyed Darren Withoos finished the night with the most pegs after slotting five of them, he also fired in four tons and a 101, while Torin Helmore might’ve been the only Snipers player to drop a singles game, he still chalked up a high peg of 96, he also threw three tons, a 119, 135 and a 140, Jason Masters scored three tons, a 131, two 140’s and a 141 and Steve Ritchie chucked five straight tons.
Badass locked horns with the Kings at the Broadford Hotel in the last A Grade game for the round, the Kings proved too good on the doubles as they banked the four points with a 7-4 win.
Badass’ captain Peter Myles blasted in eight tons, a 121 and a 140 and Anthony Wallis was the only other player to hit a recordable score, he nailed a ton, two 121’s a 140, 171 and a 180.
Adam Lynch dominated the headlines for the Kings, finishing with five pegs that included a match high peg of 76, he also scored six tons, a 115, two 121’s and a 180, Rob Welsh was next best with five tons and a 120, Anthony Bohlmann cannoned in four tons and a 140 and Terran Crispin had a quiet night with just a ton and a 125.
The Convicts and Marauders were the first B Grade game for the round, not scoresheet was sent through, so high lights cannot be recorded, apologies to the players who missed out on having their scores published.
The Ducks went down 4-7 against the Jacarandas at the Railway Club Hotel in the next game of the night, the final score doesn’t tell the full story as to how close this battle really was.
There were no triple figure scores thrown, but Yolanda DeNavi hit a high peg of 36 for the Ducks and Shelley Jensen snagged the Jacarandas highest finish with a peg of 35.
The final game of the night was a top of the table clash between the Royal Rascals and the Cobras, with both sides leaving nothing in the tank when they walked out of the Royal Hotel, with all barring two games of singles going to a tiebreaker highlighting how closely matched these two teams are, but the Cobras continued their unblemished season with a 6-5 victory.
The Rascals Brendan Rogers nailed a Round high peg of 83 to get the night started, Noel Whittling fired in a high score of 112 while Aaron Peacock, Belinda Reid and Stuart Crockett each banged in a ton each.
The Cobras’ Rohan Clancy stole the show after smacking in his first Comp 180 in the opening minutes of the night, congrats Rohan, he also scored a ton, a 101 and a 118, Rob Davon finishing with five pegs, five tons, a 117 and a 121, Crystal Bird slapped in five pegs as well as throwing a ton and a 140 to finish off the highlights for Round 14.
