Seymour joins Moe Racing Club and Racing Wodonga as finalists for the prestigious award, which recognises excellence across customer service, community engagement, capital improvements, hospitality, sponsorship, workplace safety, governance and marketing throughout the 2025–26 racing season.
The nomination marks the third consecutive year Seymour Racing Club has been named a finalist, highlighting the Club's commitment to continuous improvement and its ongoing investment in delivering a first-class experience for members, racegoers, participants and the wider community.
Seymour Racing Club chief executive Chris Martin said the recognition belonged to everyone involved with the club.
"To be nominated for Club of the Year for the third consecutive year is a tremendous honour and a reflection of the incredible work our team continues to put in every day," Mr Martin said.
"I'd like to sincerely thank our Board for its leadership and vision, along with our dedicated staff, whose passion and commitment have been instrumental in driving the Club forward."
Over the past year, Seymour Racing Club has continued to build on its strong foundations through ongoing improvements across its operations, facilities and customer experience, while strengthening its relationships with members, sponsors and the local community.
"We've always believed in finding ways to improve, whether that's enhancing our race day experience, investing in our facilities or ensuring we're delivering the best possible experience for everyone who visits our region," Mr Martin said.
"It's pleasing to see those efforts recognised, but we're certainly not finished. We're excited about what's ahead, including the introduction of twilight racing during the 2026–27 season, which will be another significant milestone for the Club and our region.
"This nomination gives everyone involved with Seymour Racing Club great confidence that we're heading in the right direction, and we're committed to continuing that momentum into the future."
The winner of the 2025–26 bet365 Country Racing Victoria Club of the Year Award will be announced at the Country Racing Victoria Awards Night on Saturday, August 22.
