As conditions warm up, so does the competition at Seymour Golf Club.

Wednesday stableford competition:

Mark Fountain: 35 points

Dave Pearce: 33 points

Dave Hamilton: 33 points

Nearest the pin:

12th: Mark Fountain

17th: Mark Fountain

Luke Rogan raided the eagles’ nest with an eagle on the ninth hole included in his round. The ball pool went to Fountain, Pearce, Hamilton and Phil Jarvis with 29 points.

Saturday stableford competition:

Mark Fountain: 36 points on a countback

Nearest-the-pin:

Fourth: John Boruch

Sixth: Mark Fountain

12th: Peter Nelson

17th: John Callaghan

Drive-and-pitch:

Eighth: Bill Schaeffer-Steel

15th: Mick Prorok

Ball pool:

Ball pool went to 33 points: Mark Fountain, John Muscovich, Gary Murphey and Peter Nelson.

Next Friday a social six holes will be hosted between holes 10 and 15 and on Saturday a stroke round for the September monthly medal for the men and the women will occur.
