It has been a busy and successful netball season to date for Corowa B Grade netballer and current Occupational Therapy studying, Geelong resident Remy Longmire.

Her Victorian Netball League team, the City West Falcons Red claimed the ultimate victory in the Victorian Under 19’s State Super Grand Final in Melbourne, with a 51 – 40 win over the Gippsland Stars.
Remy played Wing Attack and is pleased her team won. Remy was the eldest in the side, with some very talented netballers including some as young as 15 and 16 years old.
Remy has had a lot of travel, as she continues to play at Corowa Rutherglen on weekends, as well as with the Falcons on a Tuesday night.
She was fortunate enough to play in the Corowa Rutherglen B grade win in the Ovens & Murray elimination final on Sunday, progressing through to the Semi Finals this Sunday.
