The Rams will be shooting for premiership glory after a strong finals showing and finishing fourth on the home-and-away season ladder.

During the season, the Rams had 11 wins, six losses and one draw.

In finals, their record was three straight wins.

The team had 54 point wins against fifth placed Echuca United in the elimination final at Cobram and fourth placed Mulwala at Tongala in the semi-final, before defeating minor premiers and defending champs Cobram by eight points at Finley in the preliminary final last Saturday.

Moama finished the season second on the ladder due to percentage, with 17 wins and one loss.

After beating Cobram two weeks ago by 26 points, the Magpies have had the week off.

The two grand final teams have met twice this season, with Moama winning on both occasions.

The first was in round seven by 22 points at Hardinge St, and round 13 at Moama by 46 points.

But the Rams have shown they can come back from defeat.

In each of its finals it turned the tables on teams who won against them during the season.

Regardless of past results, Moama at home on grand final day will pose a challenge to the hungry Rams.

The match will begin at 10.30am. The players and club encouraged locals to head along and support the team.

Player profiles are as follows:

1. Chase Bartlett: Fearless leader. Explosive, courageous and sets the standard for the team.

2. Bentley Hardman: Young star who is fast, elusive, damaging and lethal with ball in hand.

3. Henry Robinson (captain): A captain that leads from the front. Never flustered and makes strong decisions across the ground.

4. Tynen Rothe: Heartbeat of the team. A relentless, hard and tough competitor who never stops trying.

5. Ted Wren: Utility and versatile at both ends. Damaging with blistering speed while still locking down his opponent.

6. Charlie McCallum (captain): Fearless leader. Stands up in big occasions. Desperation to win the footy is unmatched.

7. Nick Fanning: A genuine lockdown defender. Never beaten one-on-one and prides himself on his kicking efficiency.

8. Logan Elphick: Ultimate swingman that gets the job done wherever is needed. Fast and dangerous in front of goal.

9. Oscar Wren: General of the defence. Magician with his daring ball use as well as aggressive run and carry.

10. Max Burge: First year player that is genuine X-factor. Pressure forward that loves any chance of a goal.

11. Ryder Perrin: Ultimate team player that puts the team first. Key lockdown defender, sacrifices his game for the betterment of the team.

12. Mitchell Grimwood: Team first player that gets it done at both ends. Leads by example with strong leadership qualities.

14. Matt Pitt (vice captain): Swingman. Damaging at either end. Taking real strides in becoming more of an intercepting defender.

16. Jack McGrillen: Young gun who can run up and down the wing all day. Fitness freak who prides himself on being the fittest.

17. Rory Smith (vice captain): Key defender that's a crucial member of our team. Boosts morale and infectious energy around the group.

18. Ari Strongman: First year player. Hard-nosed, first in and gets dangerous down forward.

19. Luke Moorse: Never loses a contest. X-Factor down forward and strong intent to win the football, tackle hard and bring intensity.

20. Corben Hayes: A middle aged player who has taken enormous strides in his footballing ability this year.

21. Tom Way: A ruckman with a huge leap, elite tap work and loves to get involved once the ball is at ground level.

22. Tom Murray: Genuine hybrid type forward that pushes through the midfield. Thrives on any chance to use his bodywork ability and celebrate a goal.

23. Ollie Murray: Young tough inside player who loves to put his body on the line each week. Thrives under pressure, hits hard, tackles well and enjoys dropping his shoulder.

24. Talen Barnes: Crafty player who loves to show off his running ability and silky skills.

25. James Gatacre: First year player who has grown into a small lockdown defender who shines in tough battles.

26. Ollie Ives: Versatile young gun. Proven to be a strong defender this season and a live wire down forward.

27. Fred Everett: A team first player. Fan favourite of the group. Consistency at training which has developed his footballing ability this season.

30. Max Murray: The enforcer of the group. Known for his giant leap, hard hitting tackles, strong clearance and beating his assistant coach in an arm wrestle.

31. Spencer Cowley: Strong presence down forward who loves physicality and is a dead eye in front of goal. Brings infectious energy to the group.
