It was a great game against Finley in chilly conditions, and saw Rams coming out as victors by 48 goals.
Eloise Ritchie played a relentless game in defence and applied pressure across the court.
Steph Birk didn’t miss a beat. Her strong game saw her change from providing strong and steady drives in the centre to assisting in shooting some awesome goals.
Macie Free backed up last week’s performance with another great game in the mid court, showing some strong leads and quick passes into the ring.
With a few team members out this week, we were lucky enough to have some others fill in and they slotted into beautifully. Thank you, Eloise Ritchie, Lily den Houting and Bonnie Everett for filling in.

The C-grade girls played a strong, fast game of netball, with all players giving their best.
It was a win to Deni.
Team members adapted well to playing different positions which was great.

Rams started off slow against the top side.
With a few away, they had to adjust and make it work.
Down by nine at quarter time, the girls came back on with more hunger.
They got the run they needed and worked had to get level with rams.
Lilly Free was shutting down the wing attack drives and was a consistent support for being the ball down the court.
Abbey Hodgson and Eliza Ryan combined well in the ring with great direction and eyes from Demi Blake and Temeka Macdonald.
Rams had the lead but Finley got the points in the last minutes of the game.
The team is looking forward to matching off again in the finals.

Under-17s: Deni Rams 55 def Finley 27.
With a few girls away, a number of 15s girls stepped up to play 17s.
The girls combined beautifully working all girls into the game.
Phoebe Jefferies was solid in defence, working hard to create turnovers and encourage her team mates.
Ava Robinson had a great game in attack with confident shooting and great feeding into the right.
Mia Parks showed her fitness and experience leading the mid-court.

Under-15s: Deni Rams 26 def Finley 15.
The girls had a strong start against a competitive Finley side.
Ava Richards was strong in defence combining beautifully with Emma Parks creating many turn overs and pick offs.
Shontai O’Callaghan was her best in goal shooting with high accuracy. A great team game.

A very consistent game this week by the 13s in Finley, regardless of several position changes.
Georgia Henderson played the majority of the game in defence, she anticipated the ball and created many turnovers.
Zoe Circuitt positioned herself well in the goal ring and shot accurately.
Bella Hillier was very strong and reliable throughout the mid court.
We are excited for round 11 against Echuca United.

Saturday’s game was captained by Emma Wettenhall.
Footwork is something that we will work on as a team.
The girls did some good intercepts, tight in defence and strong attacking got the ball to our end.
